IRVINE, CA--(December 6, 2017) - Gold Mining USA, Inc. (OTC PINK: GMUI), with a pending name change to Vita Mobile Systems, Inc, is actively prepopulating their soon-to-be-released app ‘VITA’ with thousands of images and videos of current events and locations from across the US to ensure an unparalleled user experience during the beta test. VITA is a mobile social app that uses crowdsourcing, geolocation and artificial intelligence technology to allow users to post about events and incidents, and for anyone to see what’s happening at any place around them or across the globe.

Beta Testing and AWS’ Rekognition Service

Vita Mobile Systems is pre-populating thousands of images and videos to beta test user experience and to fine tune VITA's recognition algorithms and artificial intelligence protocols. As part of the final beta testing, Vita Mobile Systems is integrating a hybrid artificial intelligence platform by leveraging Amazon Web Services' (AWS) popular deep learning-based image recognition service, Rekognition, to work with and enhance the company’s proprietary machine learning algorithms.

This will specifically enhance the app’s ability to learn, identify, and predict trends from the multitude of pictures and videos that will be uploaded daily including the ability to:

  • Decipher landscapes

  • Recognize indoors vs outdoors

  • Identify location types

  • Read and analyze text in photos

  • Interpret facial expression to predict mood

AWS tools have become widely used and are already incorporated into the back-end systems at companies such as Live Nation’s (NYSE: LYV) Ticketmaster, Nasdaq, Inc. (NASDAQ: NDAQ) OMX, Hitachi and 3M (NYSE: MMM), to name a few.

Future enhancements to Vita Mobile Systems' recognition algorithms and artificial intelligence protocols may include predictive 3-D location modeling through catalogued image data points and the ability to predict titles and emoticons for future locations and events.

VITA Adds Thousands of Crowdsourced Images and Videos

By pre-populating VITA with thousands of locations now, not only can we effectively beta test the app prior to launch, but we are also providing content for users to interact with our online community from day one. Additionally, the app’s image and text recognition algorithms we are beta testing will be invaluable to provide targeted geo-targeted opportunities for our augmented reality advertising. For example, VITA algorithms can identify a picture’s content and see a McDonalds logo in it, creating a location specific advertising opportunity for our vendors,” stated Sean Guerrero, CEO of Vita Mobile Systems. “I encourage everyone to visit our website for more sneak peaks VITA.”

IRVINE, CA--(November 15, 2017) - Gold Mining USA, Inc. (OTC PINK: GMUI), doing business as and soon to be renamed Vita Mobile Systems, Inc, is gearing up to release its much-anticipated crowdsourcing, geolocation app ‘VITA’. VITA is a revolutionary mobile social app that uses crowdsourcing, geolocation and artificial intelligence technology to allow anyone to easily find and view what’s happening at any place around them or across the globe.

CBS Hit Series Wisdom of the Crowd

The concept behind VITA’s crowdsourcing, geolocation app has quickly caught the attention of the market in part due to the recent CBS hit dramatic TV series Wisdom of the Crowd, based one man’s use of technology to help solve the murder of his daughter.

VITA is at the forefront of this technology. In addition to using crowdsourced content, VITA uses proprietary geolocation and artificial intelligence algorithms to make the best use of all of any user’s pictures, video and text content. VITA hosts an open network platform where users can be anonymous, allowing for the freedom to upload, share and collaborate without the social pressures and fear sometimes associated with apps like Facebook.

USA Today discussed SOPHE, the crowdsourcing technology in the new hit Wisdom of the Crowd, in a recent article specifically addressing ‘when an app becomes the star of a primetime tv show’. SOPHE is a fictional technology, but gives viewers an idea of the power of crowdsourced information to create a multi-dimensional view of any one location or event – in the show’s case, it is used to solve crimes.

“Timing could not be better for VITA. Wisdom of the Crowd has demonstrated that there is a growing need for crowdsourced, location based information. The show has dramatized its use to solve crimes, but VITA can do so much more,” stated Sean Guerrero, CEO of Vita Mobile Systems.

The Many Uses of VITA

VITA is the ideal mobile app for users to “see it and post it” and look for more information on any place or event on the map.

Example uses of VITA, to name a few:

- Up-close looks of the car accident around the corner

- First-person views of the protest downtown and video of police handing the masses

- The out of control brush fire that is inching closer to your neighborhood

- A candid sighting of a movie star at the gym

- Seeing an actual look at the construction project that shut down a freeway on-ramp

- Pictures of a lost animal found in the street

- Flash sales and daily deals posted by local store and restaurants managers

The possibilities are endless and the content is posted by everyday people, providing real life, uncensored views. Whereas users are only motivated to post the best photo or selfies to other apps, VITA can and does use all photos, videos and text comments to create a mosaic of an event at a specific location. With VITA, users can easily share or find out more about any event around them or across the world, from the car accident around the corner to vacation spots to emergent events such as protests and shootings. VITA fuels a "see it and post it" culture, making all pictures and videos useful in illustrating an authentic crowdsourced view of daily life.

VITA - Preparing for Launch

VITA Mobile has been prepopulating thousands of locations in the app to both test and to provide content for the first users at launch. The company is currently testing VITA’s algorithms against AWS’ deep learning-based image recognition service Rekognition. AWS services are being used more and more across a variety of industries and have been incorporated into products at companies such as Zillow, Expedia and Netflix.

VITA uses Google Maps and either its in-app camera or the user’s mobile device camera, making the app completely user friendly and easy to use. Recognizable icons and emojis such as ‘fire’, ‘car accident’, ‘smiley face’ or ‘sad face’ on the map quickly identify the type of event.

IRVINE, CA--(Oct 25, 2017) - Gold Mining USA, Inc. (OTC PINK: GMUI), doing business as and soon to be renamed Vita Mobile Systems, Inc. in conjunction with its recently acquired internet marketing and technology business, today released more information and functional details on its new, ground-breaking social mobile app VITA.

“Have you ever seen a huge cloud of smoke on the horizon and wanted to find out if it was your house on fire or if you needed to rush home and evacuate your family?” stated Sean Guerrero, CEO of Vita Mobile Systems. “Well, I have. And being from California, this happens more than any of us would like. I scoured online news networks, and no one had published any info about a fire for hours. I tried to comb my social media (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter), and it was so hard to find anything or find even just the location of the fire.  It was very frustrating and upsetting and many of us have been in that situation, be it worried about smoke on the horizon or sirens in the distance or a shooter on the loose.”

“With VITA, all you would need to do is open the app and search the area in question for any eye-witness’ posts on the incident to quickly and easily find out more about the situation. Our app uses the Google Maps platform, giving users a very familiar and easy to use interface. Events will appear on the map with descriptive emojis. Users can click on an event to see all the pictures, videos and personal comments as they occur and can even add their own content to the event. To add photos and videos, users can either use the VITA in-app camera or any native mobile phone camera or third-party photo app, making VITA’s interface versatile and easy to use on a moment’s notice,” continued Guerrero. “Another great feature of VITA is our Time Machine.  As events age, they don’t get deleted, they get archived in our Time Machine so anyone can find information on past events without those events crowding the current events on the map. We are looking forward to our beta launch and providing updates as the app rolls out.”

VITA crowdsources these newsworthy events. Users “see it and post it.”  Using VITA will not only be about news, but will also include live looks at all aspects of everyday life.  People can easily share or seek out anything from organic looks at points of interest or vacation spots, to seeing the car accident around the corner, finding deals posted daily by local stores or shoppers, experiencing the latest video and photos from concerts and sporting events, and more. The possibilities are endless.

Being an open network social app, VITA will focus on locations and events as opposed to the users themselves. VITA fills a gap in today’s top social media apps and will supplement them by providing a fresh spin on the way that people share and consume social media.  Today, users have to blindly search various sites such as Twitter, Instagram and Facebook for information on a certain event, hoping someone in their social network has some information or happened to be there. Since current social media culture consists of choosing only the best media to post, it’s difficult to attain a full understanding of what is actually happening. That tedious approach, coupled with many users posting to gain more ‘followers’, ‘friends’ and ‘likes’, makes today’s top social media a limited source for the information people are often looking for.

VITA's "see it and post it" culture of sharing all media, good and bad, should open up the gates for true crowdsourced updates. VITA also expands everyone’s current social network beyond just their groups of friends to anyone with a mobile camera. VITA users will be able to view unfiltered, and real-time perspectives through the eyes of the millions of cameras documenting real life every day.
